
Eric Stern is an audio engineer and music technologist. ​He received a master’s degree in Music Technology from The Steinhardt School at New York University in 2016, and a bachelor’s degree from Connecticut College in 2013, where he studied Music & Technology and Computer Science. At Connecticut College, he was a scholar in the Ammerman Center for Arts & Technology (CAT), composed electroacoustic music, performed as a pianist in the Jazz Ensemble and Concert Band, and worked in the recording studios. At NYU, he began composing music for film and visual multimedia, as well as editing and mixing audio for video and games. His research has focused on audiovisual synchronization in film, film music, performance applications for musicians, and digital signal processing.

He currently lives in New York City, and for the last decade has worked as a sound editor and re-recording mixer for film, television, podcasts and other media.
